Due to the orbit and the rotation of the planet Saturn, the perspective view of its ring system is influenced. The observer sees elliptical formations. In Saturns Ring-System, 17.12.2002, 10.5.2014, 4.10.2026 (Rings of Saturn 17 December 2002, 10 May 2014, 4 October 2026) three of those ellipses are transformed into three-dimensional bodies which become snapshots of an infinite movement.
The spanish composer Hara Alonso supplies the sculptures with contact microphones and sensors. Contacts and circular movements of three musicians are translated into electronic sounds. They allude to the rotation of Saturn and at the same time the circular movement is source of the appearance of the ellipsoids.
