A discus as an object is connected to the idea of a gyration. An athlete spins to throw the discus and it rotates during its flight.
Because of its constitution this discus cannot fly. Nevertheless, it has a potential to move. Due to an air blast or a touch the object begins to gyrate. It represents the reminder of a movement, while at the same time it can perform a real action.
